Choose your countryHow it works
1. Right after the accident
Stop, switch on your hazard lights and check for injuries. Call 112 if anyone is hurt. Exchange names, addresses, registration plates and insurance details.
2. Record what happened
Take photos of both vehicles and the scene, note witnesses, and fill in the accident report form together. Stick to the facts and never admit fault at the scene.
3. Report and repair
Report the damage to your insurer within your country's deadline. In most of Europe you have the right to choose your own repair shop. We connect you with one near you.
Choose your country
Every country has its own form, rules and deadlines. Pick yours for local guidance in your language.
The European Accident Statement
The European Accident Statement is the standard two-driver form used across Europe to record what happened, without deciding who is at fault. It exists in every language, and the boxes are identical everywhere, so two drivers can each fill it in their own language. Signing it is not an admission of fault.
